The Trust exists to provide financial support to pupils (or former pupils) at schools in the Western Area of the County of Norfolk who require assistance with expenses related to educational activities or courses, particularly but not exclusively in Sport and Classics. Grants are usually restricted to a maximum of £250, but are also available for those who are engaged in continuing activities requiring support in successive funding years.
Applications can be submitted at any time, but the Trustees normally meet to consider applications in March, July and November each year. Application forms require relevant details to be provided by Parent or Guardian, and must also be supported by the Headteacher and Chairman of Governors of the School. Applicants who have left school should forward a letter of application giving full details including the name of the school formally attended.

The inclusion of any literature relating to the Course etc. would be helpful. The recipients of any grant may be required to confirm their attendance at any Course etc. for which a grant is made, and the Trustees will require an acknowledgement of any grant made.
