Key Stage 4 - Step up to GCSE
As a GCSE student at Marshland High School, your Key Stage 4 curriculum will begin in Year 10, building on the prior foundations of a Knowledge Rich Curriculum which began in Key Stage 3.
Year 10 ends with a series of examinations to check where you are in relation to your academic potential. This is the first of three sets of examinations (PPEs) that take place to inform and guide you leading up to your final GCSE exams. The feedback from these allows your subject teachers to personalise your Year 11 curriculum and intervention support, including using tailored subject tutor time to meet the needs of each one of you, in preparation for your final GCSE examinations.

Intervention and Exam Timetables
Year 11 students are offered bespoke clubs for intervention in preparation for their GCSE examinations. The current programme of lunchtime and after-school interventions can be found here.
Revision Sessions will also be held during exam weeks - the programme for September PPEs has been sent to parents.
