Extra Curricular Activities

We believe in expanding students' experience and offer a wide range of enrichment activities including the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, Science and Maths competitions, a Spelling Bee and a variety of sports clubs including hockey, football, cricket, netball and basketball to local and national levels. Regular music productions and drama events feature on our calendar each year, with an annual musical production.

Clubs and Activities

These range from subject specific clubs to those that will challenge our students beyond the curriculum and gain knowledge and experience outside the classroom which will help them on their future career path.

Year 11 Intervention 

Year 11 students are offered bespoke clubs for intervention in preparation for their GCSE examinations.

PE Clubs

These allow our students to further their interest in sport and take part in representing the school in regular fixtures at local and county level. Details of these can be found on the Extra Curricular Timetable.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Award includes developing skills, volunteering and an expedition. The Bronze and Silver Award levels are offered to our students from Year 9 and is very popular with out students. For more information click here.
