Following the school’s recent consultation on proposed changes to our admission arrangement from September 2026, we are pleased to confirm all changes have been approved.

What does this mean?

• For admissions September 2026 onwards, Marshland High School’s catchment includes the parishes of Upwell and Outwell.

• Upwell Academy and Beaupre Community Primary School are feeder primary schools to Marshland High School.

• In accordance with our published September 2026 school admission procedures, children at Upwell Academy and Beaupre Community Primary School are prioritised for a place at Marshland High School based on criteria 4.

• “Priority will be given to children with siblings at the school living permanently at the same address.   Priority is equally given to siblings of former pupils” will move from criterion 3 to criterion 6.

The above changes should mean, based on historic admission applications, all children within the new enlarged school catchment area are likely to secure a place at Marshland High School.
