Choosing a secondary school is perhaps one of the most important decisions a parent and child will make. At Marshland High School we regard all students as individuals with their own talents, skills, attributes, and needs. Parents can be assured that we view their child as unique.

We offer many varied opportunities for personal growth as well as an appropriate curriculum that is personalised for each student. We are proud of our reputation as a happy and caring School.

Our school is a safe place and we strive to keep it this way. No young person can do well if they feel they may be bullied or suffer unpleasantness, so we take a firm line in relation to discipline. We want all students to feel able to challenge themselves and this can only happen if they feel safe.

Home_02We have a wonderful school with a talented, conscientious and energetic staff. We are committed to providing the very best education your child can receive. We are a truly comprehensive school and I strongly believe that all subjects contribute to assist your child to become a rounded citizen in whom all of society can be proud.

Our staff will challenge students academically as we all want and expect high standards. All students are made aware of their potential as individuals and we will inform parents and students if they fall short of these expectations.
Lastly, we expect and rely on the support of parents, without this the full capabilities of your child will not be achieved.
