The Science Department is a dedicated, committed, enthusiastic and highly professional team. Our GCSE results have been consistently high compared with other subjects within the school, county and nationally.
The department is supported by two full time technicians and one part-time, and is accommodated in six well-equipped laboratories with preparation rooms. Two of the laboratories were built in 1997 and the other four laboratories were refurbished in 2004. The science rooms occupy a central area within the school. We also have the use of one mobile classroom – this enables us to have 7 teaching groups in KS4.
