Welcome to the newly formed Faculty of English and Humanities.
As a faculty, we believe in supporting all students to the best of our ability to help them reach their potential.
Meet the Team
All of our Faculty policies and ways of working are geared towards the above aim. However, students have the key responsibility in ensuring their own progress. They must listen carefully at all times to the advice and guidance that they receive from the teachers and teaching assistants in the Faculty.
We also believe that students make much better progress when parents are kept fully informed of: the progress that their son or daughter is making, what they are learning, and how they are learning it. As well as using the half-termly PRAISe reports to inform you, we actively encourage you to talk to your son/ daughter about what they are learning within the Faculty and how you as a parent can support them with their learning at home.
If you ever have any questions or queries about homework, revision, or about how your son or daughter is progressing with their GCSE studies, do not hesitate to contact the appropriate class teacher.
